Yoga For Blind People
The art of Yoga is yet another vital aspect of human growth and development. It has been scientifically proved that it increases the ability to concentrate and enables one to have a steady hold of oneself. It is one of the oldest forms of art and we are proud to say, our mother India is its creator. This art of Yoga has attracted people of many different lands both far and wide, however, persons with visual impairment do not have ample opportunities to learn and explore the depths of this wonderful aspect of life.
This is mainly due to the lack of dedication, patience, on the part of instructors to teach them, and also their general reluctance to teach a person with a disability. As a solution to this problem, Jyothirgamaya introduces yoga for blind people. Here the blind shall be taught some basic asana’s and yogic techniques which will help in their self-growth proper breathing, concentration, and personal relaxation.
